Best Friends Have Babies With Same Deadly Illness

Two adult females who have existed best allies since puerility gave birth to mollycoddle just hebdomads apart and both infants have the same potentially life-threatening sickness, it is being reported.

According to the Daily Mail, Tara Sturman, 35, and Andrea Cobbold, 33, donatedded parts of their livers to their tiddlers at King’s College Hospital in London with the promise that it would save their babies’ lives from a status called bilious atresia.

The nascence defect affects about 50 babies in England and Wales each twelvemonth, it was reported.

The status meant that Cobbold’s boy Alex, 13 calendar months, and Sturman’s girl India, 10 calendar months, were birthed without gall ducts outside their liver so gall enters the blood stream poisoning the liver and causation cirrhosis, the Mail reported.

Alex standard her liver transplant in October 2007 and was permitted to go home on Dec. 20. India received hers in November and travelled back to her home in Elmswell, Suffolk, U.K. in January, consorting to the written report.

The menages live in adjacent villages in Suffolk.
