Food and Drug Administration: Chinese Dietary Supplements Contain Viagra

Dietary supplements commercialized to furnish male intimate enhancement comprise undeclared cavernous dysfunction drugs putt users at risk, the Food and Drug Administration says.

The office advised consumers to remain away from Shangai Chaojimengnan supplements sold under the name calling Super Shangai, Potent Testis, Shangai Ultra, Shangai Ultra X, Gentlewoman Shangai and Shangai Regular. The Chinese-made supplements are packaged and distributed by Shangai Distributor Inc. of Puerto Rico.

Merchandise testing signals that some of these alleged supplements comprise Viagra’s active factor, sildenafil, or a compound with a chemical structure that mimics Viagra.

These chemical substances could interact with nitrates in drugs interpreted for disorders ordinarily associated with cavernous dysfunction, admitting diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterin and bosom disease. The event could perilously lower a user’s blood pressure, concording to the FDA.

The federal agency also discouraged that the refuge and pureness of these illegal ingredients is unknowned.
